Any school can be a pretty difficult place to be a part of. All different kinds of personalities and styles mix in the school and there can be a lot of pressure to succeed, especially at higher grade levels. Students who work hard on a project and feel confident about their work might find themselves receiving an "F". Even other students mock or ridicule others just because they are different than them in age, ability, or some other insignificant thing. Write about a bad educational experience that you have had in school.
REMEMBER: Turn in your portfolio contents next week- revised essay + all drafts, revised paragraph + all drafts, and a new paragraph.

If you feel uncomfortable with these guidelines, use these examples to practice with before trying to apply the guidelines to your writing. Remember, there is no one answer with style, so I did not supply answers.
